How it works
How it works
Target layer
Whole dermis (epidermis protected · volumetric heating down into the dermis)
Monopolar radiofrequency (RF) warms the entire collagen matrix of the dermis broadly and evenly. Loosened collagen contracts immediately, and new collagen builds up over the following months, raising skin density. Unlike ultrasound that pulls at a point, it tightens a whole surface — if Ultherapy is the 'structural work', Thermage FLX is the 'finishing work' that firms the loose outer wall.
Renewall way
The Renewall approach
- 01
Reading your face comes before the device name — we separate the 'sagging type' (collapsed pillar) from the 'loss-of-density type', and recommend Thermage only to those it suits
- 02
For slim faces with hollow cheeks, rather than a strong lift that touches the fat layer, filling surface density with Thermage is the safer way to bring the skin close
- 03
For mixed sagging and looseness, 'Ul-Thermage' builds the base with Ultherapy and fills the surface with Thermage — if skin is thin or has redness or active pigment, the sessions are split 1–2 weeks apart
Pairs well with: Ul-Thermage · Ultherapy Prime · Re2O · Alma Titanium

FAQ
FAQ
Which suits me, Ultherapy or Thermage?+
'Sagging' areas such as the jawline and marionette area suit Ultherapy; 'loosened' surface skin with fine lines and pores suits Thermage. They are not competitors but tools for different depths, so when both are present we divide their roles and design them together.
Will my cheeks become hollow?+
Thermage tightens the dermis and does not directly reduce fat volume. We often recommend it instead of Ultherapy for slim faces with little cheek fat.
When will I see results?+
You may feel slight tightening right after from collagen contraction, and results are clearest 2–3 months later as new collagen builds. Healthier density also changes how skin reflects light, so complexion improves too. It generally lasts about a year, so we recommend once a year.
Does it hurt or swell?+
FLX adds cooling and vibration so it hurts less, but you will feel heat. It is done with numbing cream, and sensitive patients can choose sleep sedation. Apart from temporary redness, there is almost no downtime.
Can I have it on the same day as Ultherapy?+
If your skin barrier is stable, they can be done on one day. If your skin is thin, has redness or active pigment, or is sensitive to pain, splitting them 1–2 weeks apart gives steadier results.
