Recommended for
Who it is for

- ✓A square jaw (masseter) makes your lower face look wide
- ✓You worry the lower face may look wider after thread lifting
- ✓You worry your expression may look stiff or unnatural
How it works
How it works
Target layer
Muscle layer (neuromuscular junction)
Botulinum toxin temporarily blocks the nerve signal to a muscle and weakens its contraction. In expression muscles it makes wrinkles form less; in an overdeveloped muscle such as the masseter, volume decreases over several weeks and refines the lower-face contour. The effect is temporary and gradually returns over time.
Renewall way
The Renewall approach
- 01
I predict the line that will change after lifting — pulling can reveal a hidden masseter, so for those with developed muscles I design Botox together
- 02
I look at muscle size and movement myself and decide dose and area, injecting a made-to-measure amount so the expression does not look stiff — checking not only the front but also the side
- 03
Thread lifting anchors at the temple to avoid widening the face, and right after treatment I check balance and, if needed, supplement immediately with Botox
Pairs well with: Thread Lift · Ultherapy Prime

FAQ
FAQ
Which product do you use?+
The doctor works as a key doctor for Daewoong Pharmaceutical's Nabota. Products suited to the area and purpose, Nabota included, are explained at consultation along with differences and dose.
When does it take effect?+
It usually appears gradually within 3–7 days and settles around 2 weeks. A square jaw takes several weeks or more to reduce, with large individual differences. First-time patients can start with a small dose and top up after seeing the response.
Won't a square-jaw Botox make my face look awkward?+
The masseter is a chewing muscle and reducing it too much can be uncomfortable, so the dose is adjusted. Where the bone itself is large the effect is limited, so we check at consultation first. If you worry about weaker chewing, we use a conservative dose.
Is it good to combine with thread lifting?+
For those with a developed lower-face muscle, the lower face may look wider after lifting, so combining is recommended. Whether to do both at once or after tissue settles depends on muscle condition; sometimes threads come first and Botox finishes after reviewing progress.
Do I have to keep getting it?+
The effect is temporary, so maintaining it requires repeats. Responses differ by person, so interval and dose are adjusted by progress. The cycle is set by when the first effect fades; we recommend starting with a low dose to check your response.
